Game Of Life
GAME OF LIFE
This game is fascinating because it can guide us on the evolution of different life forms or even on the evolution of an epidemic.
The Game of Life is a simple game that consists of a cellular automaton designed by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970 and has three very simple rules where nobody wins or loses.
- Any live cell with two or three neighbors survives.
- Any dead cell with three live neighbors becomes a live cell.
- All other live cells die in the next generation. Similarly, all other dead cells stay dead.
Since its publication, it has attracted a lot of interest due to the great variability in pattern evolution. Life is considered to be a good example of emergency and self-organization. It is interesting for scientists, mathematicians, economists, and others to see how complex patterns can come from implementing very simple rules.
How To Play?
- Move camera with arrow keys and mouse wheel
- With left click you can add cells.
- Keep right-click to start the simulation.
- The top slider helps decrease or increase the speed of the simulation.
- L to clean current cells.
